Personality: Balimaar wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
