History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Sybil was a troubled youth. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
