History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adelard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the west to a Performer, Alex learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
