History: Roland was born the youngest of three triplets. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Roland began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Baker born in the past three hundred years. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Baker. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, but does not cut a very imposing figure. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Description: This woman is very fat, and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She keeps her blonde hair in a pixie cut. Her ears are large.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Sarah was born on a far eastern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Spice Merchant. She has worked as a Spice Merchant like her mother before her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult
