Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Alice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Revenge; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. A true patriot, Rolf would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolf was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against dire rats

History: She got into the Gardener business at a young age. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She became a Gardener soon after.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
