History: Manfred lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
