History: Born in the east to a Beggar, Aline learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She now owns her own business.

History: Cecily was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Henry lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Fisher, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
