Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Elizabeth was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
