Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: 5'4" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She wears a small hat to hide her balding. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: Juliana is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Juliana enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. The war was a terrible time for her, and Aline does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Aline studied abroad. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle
