Through the years after Elysande was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Elysande's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.

History: Dean lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has worked as a Crown-heir like his mother before him.

History: Ida hails from a village terrorized by illithids. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Ida was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
