History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born in the north. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Aldous alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: He is a mite stocky and wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
