History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. After coming to the age of reason, Melissa took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bricklayer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in the east to a Mason, Rosalind learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She tends to her Mason job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.
