History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Cory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Cartwright responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Tanner. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His brown hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: Alexandre was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and wants to work out more often

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking southern young adult. She has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into her grey robe. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. Her blue eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: She got into the Shepherd business at a young age. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She struck the Shepherd job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and expand her business
