History: Katherine was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Mason hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Sarah embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Sarah was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sarah's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has never given up on her poetry dream.
