He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.
