History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Hugolina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hugolina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Sarah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.
