History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
