History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Herbalist. He's also a talented Actor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult
