History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Aline was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 15 years.

Description: 5'11" and muscular, this western man is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright blue and grey, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bookbinder. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wants his loneliness to end
