History: Kody was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He worked as a nervous Brewer and found it very stressful. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Ermina was born on a far western mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Interpreter. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
