Gerald Darby, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He usually wears his black robe and has his rapier always slung over his shoulder. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. With a patchy white beard and wild white hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.
Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Emma Tenley, Female Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'4" when asserting herself. She wears her chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her violet eyes.
Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emma does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Emma reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Emma fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels kind of lost in life
Ideals: Fighting, Professionalism. Flaws: Depressed. Bonds: Attractive, Military. Occupation: Merchant
Voice: Mousy voice

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it.
