Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emma embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Emma was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered singing. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Personality: Bernard is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and further expansion of business

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Charles isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Charles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Charles took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
