The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Dean took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up nunchaku and armor he uses now. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He got into the Dyer business at a young age. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dyer for the past few years.

She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She bought a bow and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Tanner and was forced into it by her family; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
