History: Patrick hails from a village terrorized by drow. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: She wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with white lining and desert motifs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 4'10" when asserting herself. Her hair is brown and very short. Her amber eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: Rosalind lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rosalind grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rosalind. She got money to start a business from the gang present in town. She is greatly indebted to them.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
