History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Miles alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
