Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking eastern young adult. He typically wears grey cloth garments or leather armor. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. Balimaar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Balimaar was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by his family

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Sailor. He has wavy chestnut hair. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is obsessed with his god.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Trym was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sailor. He tends to his Sailor job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Expand his business; and he is content

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a green tunic with brown highlights, and long white pants that bunch up around his shoes. He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: This man loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a tanner and was forced into it by his family

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
