History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Dilettante like her father before her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Miles was born with his father's beautiful face. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and to be a bather again
