Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Ermina is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Ermina reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Rolf is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rolf grew up listening to his father's many stories. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Marshal and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new marshal responsibilities is difficult

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Actor, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Actor and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. After a long history of fighting, Guy and his spouse have recently divorced.
