His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.

When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Jeweler. He became a Jeweler soon after.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and a rival would like her out of the picture
