History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Description: This fat northern woman has a bulbous nose and wears a white tunic with blue highlights, and long pastel pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a Map Maker, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When Williamina reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
