Joan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Balimaar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Balimaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Rosalind alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Courier. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
