History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gifted student she started as a Miller, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: The child of a Sailor, who enjoyed hunting, Avelina was taken on many hunting expeditions. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Roofer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Roofer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She bought a morningstar and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
