History: Ahlyssa was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Williamina was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Bather work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bather work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.
