History: Norman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Spice Merchant and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shipwright. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she's in love
