History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Ahlyssa and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
