History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Kody was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kody decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She bought a lance and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He became a Dilettante soon after.

Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
