History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has achieved small success as a Guard.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
