Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gerard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in the north. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Fisher. He's also a talented Shipwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Through the years after Sarah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Sarah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was granted necromantic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
