Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Millicent was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Being a Bricklayer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Adelard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He tends to his Junk Dealer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
