History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Through the years after Randal was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Randal's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Randal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Frederick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
