Personality: Randal wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in the south to a Unemployed, Randal learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Unemployed.

Mary's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
