Description: She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 6'1" when asserting herself. Her hair is chestnut and curly. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady violet eyes.
Personality: Helen is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A stocky lighter skinned woman, she wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her auburn hair is smooth and relatively long. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.
History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Margery fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She has a long brown ponytail with little hanging trinkets. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of her physical features obscured. She wears her silver hair down. Her ears are large.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and to unite with her sister
