Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. With bright auburn hair and a scraggly beard. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Bertram liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. After a long history of fighting, Bertram and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Description: A 4'7" northern woman, she wears a black vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her black boots flare out at the collars. She is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around her ears. This gray eyed northerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Jane took it upon herself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: This fat eastern woman has a bulbous nose and wears an entirely black suit with pastel socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When Geva reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
