History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Everard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Everard. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He comes from a rich western family. A freak accident while working with his Shepherd father left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Junk Dealer they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Beggar, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content
