Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many brown ritualistic tattoos. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: He dresses like a well dressed Painter does. He is physically well-built. He keeps his silver hair in a pixie cut. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Hubert was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Hubert abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses well, wearing yellow shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He has a white handlebar mustache and slicked back white hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.
History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Anselm was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shoemaker. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to prove his worth to the world
