Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Shipwright business at a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shipwright for hire.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a red costume with the symbols of the sun god on his torso, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His blue eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He bought a mace and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
