She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and many illithids want her driven away

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Anselm liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Frederick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
