When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Jacoba and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Jacoba discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Jacoba fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
