She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
