History: Eleanor lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Tanner, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Bather. He's also a talented Barber, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
